We need to hear from as many people as possible who have experience of state or faith-based care to make findings, reach conclusions or make recommendations. That’s why today we have launched text-to-speech on our website that makes written content available to more people.

Visitors can now choose to listen to an audio version of content on our website as they follow along with the highlighted text. This means that people with literacy difficulties, learning disabilities, and reduced vision will be able to learn more about what we are doing, why it matters and how to get involved.

At the top of every page of our website you will now see a play button. Simply click the button and the website will read out the information on the page.

We hope that this tool will make our website accessible to a broader audience allowing us to gather vital information that can help us make recommendations about ways to prevent and respond to abuse in the future.
