The Contextual hearing is the first public hearing of the Inquiry.
Witnesses will be called to give evidence during this hearing. This will provide context to the wide ranging scope of the Inquiry. Witnesses will talk about the topics that the Inquiry will explore in more detail over the next few years.
When each public hearing investigation begins, a draft scope document will be published. The Inquiry welcomes feedback on the scope document. This document will set the parameters for what the Inquiry will focus on.
A list of witnesses will be published here before the hearing. After witnesses have given evidence, a written transcript and a video of their evidence will also be available.
