Getting started
Before registering with the Royal Commission to share your experiences it is a good idea to check the types of abuse and settings of abuse the Inquiry can investigate, by reading the summary of the Terms of Reference.
Registering with us starts the process of sharing your experiences with the Commission.
You can register by phone or email. You can also email us and ask someone to call you back.
There are many ways you can share your experience such as sharing your story at a private or group session, in person or by video call, by providing a written account or witness statement, or attending a roundtable or hui in your local community. A small number of survivors will be asked to be a witness at a public hearing.
