Dr Brigit Mirfin-Veitch - Dr Mirfin-Veitch is the Director of the Donald Beasley Institute (DBI), an independent research institute specialising in disability reasearch. The DBI were contracted by the Inquiry to carry out a research project called “Tell me about you”: A life story approach to understanding disabled people’s experiences in care (1950-2006). Dr Mirfin Veitch will speak to the evidence gathered as part of this research and what findings can be drawn from it.
