Alan Nixon lived at Marylands School when he was eight to 14 years old, following time in foster care and various other residential homes. He was sexually abused by Brothers McGrath, Donnellan and Moloney and he witnessed the abuse of other students.   Mr Nixon describes the impact his time in care has had on his life including his criminal offending. He describes how his offending in relation to church buildings resulted in the beginning of his redress process.
