Reference groups

The Royal Commission works with six Report Reference Groups. Report Reference Groups support and assist the Royal Commission to test its thinking and gain insights on areas of content relating to the Inquiry’s work programme.

Report Reference Group members include experts, academics, researchers, and those with lived experience in communities. Members have extensive networks in their respective areas. Collectively they bring knowledge and expertise and provide a range of personal and professional experience to the work of the Inquiry.

Report Reference Groups play an important role in reviewing material and contributing feedback on matters the Inquiry is considering. The six Report Reference Groups supporting the Royal Commission are:

Mental Health Reference Group

Deaf Reference Group
