Full version of Beautiful Children report now available
The full version of Beautiful Children, the Royal Commission report on the inquiry into the Lake Alice Child and Adolescent Unit was tabled in Parliament today and is now available on our website.
When the report was released in December last year, a small number of redactions were made to parts of the report to protect the criminal trial. The decision of the Wellington High Court last month to grant a permanent stay of charges in the case against a former Lake Alice nurse means the full report can now be published.
